Ecuador and Japan Earthquake Response Fund

On Saturday April 16th, 2016, Ecuador and Japan were hit with powerful earthquakes and multiple aftershocks. A magnitude 7.8 earthquake struck northern Ecuador on Saturday April 16th resulting in at least 272 people killed and 2,527 people injured, according to the government of Ecuador. A magnitude 6.2 quake struck Japan on Thursday April 14th, followed by a magnitude 7.3 quake on Saturday April 16th. More than 40 people have been confirmed dead and 1,100 injured in Japan. Through the Ecuador and Japan Earthquake Relief Fund, we show our solidarity and support for the communities affected in both Japan and Ecuador.
