The San Francisco-Marin Food Bank continues to do the day-in and day-out job of making sure vulnerable neighbors get the food they need. Now, they are putting solutions in place, one by one, to be able to continue providing food and helping our community prepare for whatever challenge the COVID-19 presents. Every $1 provides 2 meals.

Safe & Sound

Safe & Sound (formerly Child Abuse Prevention Center) has been working to end child abuse in San Francisco for over 40 years. Extreme stress on families, brought on by COIVD-19, is leading to significant increases in domestic violence and the potential for a child abuse epidemic in the US. Safe & Sound is helping to strengthen families during this crisis by providing remote emergency response and providing families with essential items.

Homeless Prenatal Program, Inc.

The Homeless Prenatal Program is a family resource center in San Francisco that empowers homeless and low-income families, particularly mothers motivated by pregnancy and parenthood, to find within themselves the strength and confidence they need to transform their lives. They serve over 3,500 low-income and homeless families annually, providing a variety of programs and services to help families become healthy, stable and self-sufficient. In the face of the COVID-19 crisis, Homeless Prenatal Program is providing families with emergency food bags, drug store gift cards, diapers, formula and other items for families in this difficult time.
