Libya Floods Emergency Appeal Fund

An estimated 3,000 people have died and up to 10,000 people have been reported missing in the massive floods triggered by Hurricane Daniel, which overwhelmed the eastern parts of the country. International assistance is required due to humanitarian needs exceeding local capacities. The storm also affected Greece, Turkey, and Bulgaria, causing at least 27 deaths in those regions before striking Libya, resulting in a major catastrophe.
