If you're interested to support the mountain rescue cause further, please check out this other Fund: https://vmware.brightfunds.org/funds/rescue-station-renovation The mountain rescue vehicle of a team from the Munich Mountain Rescue chapter suffers from poor lights, which it needs to upgrade to allow safe handling in rough terrain, and working near and around the vehicle. They obtained a quote from a specialist for 2,000€ which would allow them to add supplemental headlights, search lights, and nearfield surround lights. At this time, their headlights barely show the way ahead and they drive in rough terrain at night a lot. Your contribution would make the lives of our first responders safer! We are a charity supporting various mountain rescue organisations, mainly the Munich chapter and are collecting these funds for the lights upgrade.

The Alpine Rescue e.V. was founded on July 14, 2009 as a non-profit, registered association recognized by the tax office.

The goals of the club are

- Safety in mountain sports
- Promotion of a powerful mountain and cave rescue in Germany
- Gaining supportive members

The implementation of the objectives is carried out by
- Education for safety in the mountains
- Organization and implementation of special courses in first aid, especially in alpine terrain and in the outdoor area
- Publishing of publications and textbooks (planned)
- public awareness building
- Cooperation with partners and supporters
- Helping mountain rescue teams, for example by providing life-saving equipment

Our expertise comes from mountain rescue. Experienced rescue teams train for us. Knowledge transfer - we pass on our competences.

The mountain rescue gets our support for the purchase of modern life-saving appliances, for the preservation of the mountain rescue bases, for the education of the young.
