Audre Lorde Project Inc

The Audre Lorde Project is a Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Two Spirit, Trans and Gender Non Conforming People of Color center for community organizing, focusing on the New York City area. Through mobilization, education and capacity-building, we work for community wellness and progressive social and economic justice. Committed to struggling across differences, we seek to responsibly reflect, represent and serve our various communities.

Pflag Nyc

PFLAG NYC makes life better for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer and questioning (LGBTQ) youth by helping create Loving Families, Safe Schools, and Inclusive Communities. We help families stay close and keep relationships strong when a child comes out. We work with schools and students to end bullying and harassment so that all young people feel accepted and able to thrive. We educate the public so LGBTQ youth can look forward to a bright and successful future. Through our partnership of Parents, Families and Friends united with LGBTQ people, LGBTQ youth will find support in every aspect of their lives.

Ali Forney Center

The Mission of the Ali Forney Center is to help homeless Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Questioning youth be safe and become independent as they move from adolescence to adulthood. Too many of these youth are rejected by their families and the broader community and are thus forced to survive on the streets, facing the dangers of violence, HIV infection and homophobia. The Ali Forney Center is committed to providing homeless LGBT&Q youth with the services they need to thrive, including shelter, HIV Prevention and life skills training.

Global Action for Trans* Equality

GATE's mission is to work internationally on gender identity, gender expression and bodily issues by defending human rights, making available critical knowledge and supporting political organizing worldwide. GATE envisions a world free of human rights violations based on gender identity, gender expression and bodily diversity, and transformed by the critical inclusion of those historically marginalized on those grounds. We will contribute to build powerful, expert and well-resourced political movements, able to have a meaningful participation in global processes and to transform the landscape of socioeconomic justice worldwide.

F I E R C E

FIERCE is a membership-based organization building the leadership and power of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ) youth of color in New York City.  We develop politically conscious leaders who are invested in improving ourselves and our communities through youth-led campaigns, leadership development programs, and cultural expression through arts and media. FIERCE is dedicated to cultivating the next generation of social justice movement leaders who are dedicated to ending all forms of oppression.

Trans Lifeline

Trans Lifeline is a national trans-led organization dedicated to improving the quality of trans lives by responding to the critical needs of our community with direct service, material support, advocacy, and education. Our vision is to fight the epidemic of trans suicide and improve overall life-outcomes of trans people by facilitating justice-oriented, collective community aid.

Live Out Loud

Live Out Loud inspires, nurtures and empowers LGBTQ youth to build a successful future by connecting them to positive role models and affirmative experiences in the LGBTQ community.

By providing youth with opportunities to interact with adults who understand the realities of living openly as a member of the LGBTQ community, Live Out Loud helps young people to achieve academic success, healthy relationships, rewarding careers, and a fulfilling life.

Live Out Loud forges these crucial connections through innovative, hands-on initiatives that include: bringing positive LGBTQ role models into classrooms and schools; bringing LGBTQ youth into workplaces to meet LGBTQ professionals from all walks of life; and providing financial and mentoring support to young scholars and leaders.

The Trevor Project

The Trevor Project's mission is to end suicide among gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, queer, and questioning (LGBTQ) young people.

We are the world’s largest suicide prevention and crisis intervention organization for LGBTQ young people. The organization works to save young lives by providing support through free and confidential suicide prevention and crisis intervention programs on platforms where young people spend their time: our 24/7 phone lifeline, chat, text and soon-to-come integrations with social media platforms. We also run TrevorSpace, the world’s largest safe space social networking site for LGBTQ youth, and operate innovative education, research, and advocacy programs.

New York City Gay and Lesbian Anti-Violence Project, Inc.

We empower lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and HIV-affected communities and allies to end all forms of violence through organizing and education, and support survivors through counseling and advocacy.
