Tornado Relief Fund for Southern USA

About

Tuesday evening, southern states including Louisiana & Texas were hit by multiple tornados and severe weather that has continued into today. At this time we acknowledge that some of us might be looking for ways we can be helpful, so we've created the following charitable giving fund focused on recovery and relief. Please feel free to donate to help your colleagues and their communities get on the road to recovery.

United Way of Southeast Louisiana

United Way of Southeast Louisiana’s mission is to eradicate poverty in our region. Our vision is for equitable communities where all are healthy, educated, and financially stable. We find expert, local partners who are aligned with our Blueprint for Prosperity and believe in collaboration and accountability. We fund trusted nonprofit service providers through our collective impact model. We advocate for bipartisan policy that drives systems-level change. When you invest in your community through United Way, you help more children succeed in school, more families lead healthy lives, and more people grow their incomes to become financially stable. Together, we make more impact than any one of us could create alone when we work toward a shared goal – eradicating poverty.

Second Harvest of Greater New Orleans and ACADIANA

Second Harvest is leading the fight against hunger in South Louisiana through food access, advocacy, education and disaster response. One in five families in South Louisiana is at risk of hunger. We provide 34 million meals annually to 210,000 people in need across 23-parishes. Every $1 donation provides 4 meals to a hungry family. When you donate to Second Harvest, you help create a brighter future for our entire community.

Austin Disaster Relief Network

To glorify Christ by equipping, empowering, and mobilizing a network of churches to respond to the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of those affected by disaster in the Greater Austin, TX area.

Sbp

SBP solves the challenges facing at-risk communities by bringing the rigor of business and innovation to reduce risk, create resilient communities and streamline recovery. SBP works across the disaster preparedness and recovery continuum to drive direct impact and by sharing knowledge, people and funding. By taking a holistic approach, SBP shrinks the time between disaster and recovery in three intersecting ways—advocate, build and prepare. SBP advocates for policy and system change and advises state and local leaders to run disaster recovery programs more efficiently and effectively to create transformational change and scale impact. SBP builds resilient communities efficiently and effectively. SBP prepares individuals, communities and organizations to mitigate risk and speed recovery.

Cajun Navy Relief Inc

The mission of Cajun Navy Relief is to save lives. We are a group of volunteers who work tirelessly without pay while using our own personal equipment to provide immediate rescue and relief during natural disasters. Rescue and relief is our way of sharing our South Louisiana cultural tradition of neighbors helping neighbors with people in need across the United States. By integrating civilian volunteers into the Incident Command Structure, we are able to act as a force multiplier for agencies responding to disaster.
